The considerations for choosing wedding rings are so personal and unique. You have to not only think preferences for now, but also over time. This is the considerations that we had – dating back to the engagement.

The Engagement Ring
Back in december 2017 Jon got down on one knee and proposed to me during a trip to Paris. He choose quite a spot with the Eiffel Tower in the background. I didn’t see this coming and was completely taken by surprise. I kinda knew it would happen some day as we had been together for so many years – and it just kept on feeling so right. I had no idea that this would this very December day back in 2017 … in Paris.
When Jon got on his knee he of course presented me an engagementring. It was so pretty. Nothing like the regular princess diamond ring. But a ring full of personality and one made just for me. It was made by the talented jewellery designer MaryLou. I have been admiring her designs for years and, therefore, Jon knew exactly who to go to when he wanted to get a ring. It’s based on one of the original designs by MaryLou but customised in size, girth, width and the stone was carefully selected by Jon with the advise of the sweet MaryLou.
I loved that ring from the moment I laid eyes on it. I obviously said yes when Jon asked me to marry him and that kinda rainy day in Paris became one of the most memorable days in my entire life.
Now choosing the wedding rings
When we went ring shopping for our wedding rings we wanted something that would match my engagement ring. After scouted the market together, we of course returned to MaryLou and talked the design possibilities over with her. We wanted something hammered like my engagement ring but yet robust and simple. Something that was impossible to find somewhere else.
We ended up with the most perfect rings. And the best part is that we get to wear these rings for the rest of our lifes as a token of our love and compassion for each other.
